Since 2002
It was 2002 when we started school furniture business under the name HANSUNG SCHOOL FURNITURE.
The market HANSUNG originally targeted was the domestic market, but soon after, it decided to expand the business overseas as HANSUNG’s market share in Korea grew very quickly.
In 2013, OFFIAN was established for the export, and now, students in more than 22 countries are using our products.

‘Hansung School Furniture’ was founded.
2005
ISO 9001 certification.
2013
‘Offian’ was founded.
Started export business.
2016
Expanded factory.
2017
MOU contract with M***, one of the largest educational furniture companies in the USA.
BIFMA test machines were installed.
2018
The first school furniture manufacturer to win an award by KITA* for the amount of export. (*Korea International Trade Association)
2020
KS certification.*
(*Korean Industrial Standards. The national standards in Korea based on the Industrial Standardization Act.)R&D center was established.

Took over additional factory site.

Q. What is BIFMA test?
A. It is one of the most reputable tests to determine if the furniture is durable, safe, and sustainable enough.
BIFMA is a non-profit organization that develops voluntary standards for furniture performance and safety. BIFMA is basically accredited by ANSI, which is the American National Standards Institute, but their standards are well-known worldwide beyond America and implemented by most of the world-leading manufacturers and suppliers in this industry.
